I tautoko Māori land owners to achieve their aspirations for their whenua

I am very grateful to Glenn Tootill for his ability to support our trustees and whanau, being beneficiaries of a Maori reservation, using his legal expertise in Maori land matters. Several trustees who attended a Maori Land Court hearing agreed with the presiding Judge that someone be appointed to help support us. Glenn was appointed by the Maori Land Court for the purpose of supporting the trustees to hold general meetings around a specific kaupapa and to come to some agreement. Glenn was flexible in meeting with trustees either online, in person or by phone. Glenn arranged notices of general meetings to be placed in local newspapers, notices to beneficiaries and helped navigate our whanau through difficult conversations when those meetings were held on the marae. As such Glenn is fully versed in tikanga Maori which was evident when he facilitated those hui. It was also certainly helpful to have somebody who knew legalese to walk us through potentially tricky legal situations and facilitated those Q&A sessions openly.
